No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Cloud Hosting
We warrant the integrity of the information uploaded in each and every cloud hosting account that is generated on our cloud platform since we employ the advanced ZFS file system. The latter is the only one which was designed to avoid silent data corruption thanks to a unique checksum for each and every file. We shall store your info on a number of SSD drives which operate in a RAID, so the very same files will exist on several places simultaneously. ZFS checks the digital fingerprint of all the files on all of the drives in real time and if the checksum of any file differs from what it has to be, the file system replaces that file with a healthy version from another drive in the RAID. There's no other file system which uses checksums, so it is easy for data to be silently damaged and the bad file to be duplicated on all drives with time, but since that can never happen on a server using ZFS, you won't have to worry about the integrity of your information.
No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Servers
If you get one of our semi-dedicated server plans, you won't have to worry about silent file corruption as we use ZFS - an advanced file system which keeps track of all of the files in real time. Each time you upload a file to your web hosting account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. This file will be synced between multiple SSD drives for redundancy, so if one drive fails, the other ones will take control. ZFS compares the checksum of all copies on the different drives and when it detects a corrupted copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from another drive. This is done right away, so there will be no danger for any part of your content at any time. By comparison, other file systems carry out checks only after a system malfunction, but since they don't use anything similar to the checksums that ZFS uses, they won't detect silently corrupted files, so a corrupted copy could be replicated on the rest of the disks as well and you can lose crucial data. As this isn't the case with ZFS, we are able to guarantee the integrity of every single file you upload no matter what.
